Shalom beloveds
This compilation of poems first started off as years of talk, then months of an attempt to start. But a few weeks ago I heard the Father say, “It is time” and He took me back to pages of poems in notebooks and journals I had put in storage. Hidden between these pages were the poems of heartache, betrayal, abuse and healing. I had long forgotten about these poems. Words spilled out onto paper from the depths of my pain. Each one is a reminder of my past and the lovers who didn’t deserve me. Every word was once a trigger that transported me back into panic, fear, anxiety and regret. I used to spend a lot of time kicking myself for the stupid mistakes I made and for letting each one of these past lovers hold a piece of me. But Abba (Father) said: “It is time… time to let it go and to release the words. You’ve come far my daughter. You no longer need to hold onto these words”.
Some of the images on the cover represents a particular part of me and the rest represents a memory of each of these past lovers. The olive branch, my heart on display, the notebooks with growing blossoms sprouting out of them, are just a few of the things that represents the harvest in my heart that YHVH has produced. Proof that He takes someone like me: who was broken, bruised and disposed of, and turned me into someone new. Today I stand strong, whole, happy and free!

So here I am sharing these words with you, dear reader. Because you may have either witnessed my heartache, journeyed with me on the road to healing or only started discovering my story as of late. But for the next few weeks, I will be sharing these poems publicly. I hope and pray that these poems will bless, inspire and strengthen you. Whether you’ve experienced the same pain or know of someone who has, may it give you a glimpse into the truth and joy of healing and reaping a harvest. You can read these poems on my Substack website: https://adinepietersen.substack.com/
My prayer for you is that throughout the storms of life, you will hold onto His hand and continue to walk in His light. May Adonai carry you, bless you and protect you abundantly. Thank you for being here.
Thank you for reading, till next time…
Peace and blessings in Yeshua.
