You are the good Shepherd
You are my beloved friend
I will never lack
Because You overfill my cup
You carry me safely inside Your love
You cradle me inside the palms
Of Your peace
Gently
And quietly
I am restored
You reveal to me
Adventures of fresh pathways
And guide me by Your soft hands
I thrive to honour You
My beloved Jesus
Even when the deep valleys
Hide me from Your light
Your name conquers all fear
Your victory casts it out
But You remain at my side
Leading me towards your light
Your love overrides my fear
You lavish me
With a banquet at Your table
Above all of my enemies
You pour Your Holy Spirit
Over me in anointing
I drink You in
Until the cup of my heart overflows
I no longer fear the journey ahead
Because Your goodness and love
Chase after me all of my days
And when my life comes to an end
I will finally be
In Your arms for eternity
Because You are the Shepherd of my heart
